You'll need to be hands on in the first 12 months, some days more taxing work around the management accounts others may be more ledger focused.

The role will step up in 12 months time, you'll likely then recruit a number two to support you and the Head of Finance will be able to pass on more work to you at a senior level too.

The Role:

• Production of monthly management accounts for review by the Head of Finance.
• Management of balance sheet reconciliations and processes
• Management of sales and purchase ledger processes
• VAT returns
• Ad-hoc KPI reporting and analysis work
• General finance administration
• Support with year end accounting processes and liaison with external accountants.

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Sage
• Experience in a similar role previously.
