You will support the head of finance and manage a team of 3. We are looking for a talented qualified accountant who wants to join a positive and fast paced organisation. The offices are based in Leeds centre, the role will start off as home based with a hybrid of home and office work moving forward.

As Finance Manager, you would be managing a small team with the goal of providing high quality financial information to the Exec Team and other stakeholders. This is an all-round group role, and reports directly to the Head of Finance. It may suit an ambitious qualified accountant looking for an industry move or first move from practice.

Key responsibilities;

• Managing and developing a small finance team, ensuring key reporting deadlines are achieved.
• Complete production of monthly management accounts & finance pack.
• Ensuring that all sales & purchase ledger invoices, accruals, prepayments, intercompany journals and balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly.
• Support the Head of Finance in budgeting and forecasting.
• Variance analysis to support the month end pack.
• Support in the production of the stat accounts and coordinate the audit.
• Significant involvement in group structure work, acquisition analysis and lots of other ad-hoc analysis.
• Support the company to continuously improve finance procedures and governance.
• Regular meetings with budget holders.
• Responsibility for treasury, banking and cash flow forecasting.
• Tax work - VAT, P11d, Corp Tax (in partnership their tax advisers).

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant who can demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills and a positive manner. You should be comfortable producing good quality financial information to senior managers and be well organised and driven.The position is open to an industry move or a first move from practice.
