Do you want to join a successful and growing company?

If you've answered yes, read on...

We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager, to join us on a permanent basis at our Upminster site.

You'll have overall responsibility for managing the efficient daily running of the accounts payable department, ensuring that purchase invoices are properly accounted and processed according to Arcus policies and procedures; making payments to Arcus suppliers in accordance with the agreed contract terms and making sure necessary records and reports are accurately maintained.

You'll be responsible for developing a framework of continuous improvement, implementing and managing operational goals and KPI's and monitoring achievements of performance and profit objectives.

As Arcus continues to grow, your challenge will be to ensure our processes are able to accommodate the growth and remain fit for purpose, but with your experience and skillset it'll be second nature to you. You'll thrive working within a fast-paced environment whilst building and maintaining relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.

You'll be detail-orientated, articulate and resilient, with exceptional interpersonal skills. You'll have the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal departments. Whilst the role can be demanding and challenging, you'll be able to deal with the pressure and any push-back with ease. You'll be forward thinking in terms of technology and able to keep up with pace and change, driving efficiencies in the activities of your team.

Currently working as an Accounts Payable Manager, your experience will have been gained within a large organisation in any sector or industry.

Reporting directly into the Financial Director, you'll manage a team of 6 direct reports. You'll be working 40 hours a week across Mon - Fri, with a degree of flexibility due to business requirements.

Generous contributory pension scheme of matched contributions between 4.5% and 6% max.
