Finance Assistant

With 14 schools, the East Midlands Education Trust represents the full educational age range of 3 - 19 and also includes an alternative education provider. Our relatively new Central Services Team are now seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant to provide high quality financial administrative support to the Trust's Central Finance Team.

You will have previous experience of working within a Finance department, with the ability to develop and maintain effective and efficient Finance Administration systems.

You will be required to input standard information into the Trust's financial system, PS Financials, in accordance with financial procedures, and ensure the day to day processes are managed in an accurate and timely manner.

The role also involves assisting with month end procedures, including bank reconciliations inputting of journals and the administration of income and sales invoices.

In return, you will receive 24 days' holiday plus bank holidays and will have access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Holiday entitlement rises to 29 days and 32 days after 5 and 10 years of service respectively.
