As an Assistant Financial Controller reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for costs within the finance team, responsibilities including;

• Leading a team of 3
• Leading and overseeing the month end close for all costs examples including payroll taxes, accruals, fixed assets and prepayments
• Overseeing the accounts payable process end to end
• Leading on the costs reporting to FP&A with variances to budget and analysis and commentaries for inclusion into their overall figures
• IFRS16 accounting treatment reporting
• Involvement within projects including harmonising processes and controls with 2 entities merging, supporting a P2P roll out and general system improvements

This is a great role for someone to take real responsibility and autonomy. You will be a finalist/newly qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant or qualified by experience and have previous experience within leading people and ideally good exposure to the cost side of finance.

Location is also key as you will need to travel post COVID-19 between Cardiff and West London with flexible work from home as an option too.
