Trade Controls and Compliance Officer

Your new company

Your new company is a major player in the Telecoms sector, with operations across the globe in both the B2B and B2C markets. Given the scale and geographies of their business operations, the upcoming Brexit will have a huge impact on the regulations that affect them, hence the critical nature of this position.

You will work in a large Compliance team, working with people from diverse backgrounds from Law to Finance - and will be expected to utilise the skillset around you in this position.


Your new role

Your overarching responsibility will be to work with the compliance team around you, to help them success in their objectives to support the global brand in the operation of a robust and adaptable global compliance programme, which will address the risks of breaching trade controls, and the sanctions surrounding them.

The world is a state of change currently, and from a UK-Centric perspective, Brexit will have a profound effect on the regulations with both EU, US and Asia - where this business has operations and so you will be need to keep up to date with the latest regulations that the company will be liable to in this role.


What you'll need to succeed

• Experience working in a global brand
• Ability to work effectively in a large, complex team with multiple moving parts
• Prior experience working in a role encompassing Trade Compliance elements
• Right to work in UK without sponsorship
• Ability to start within 2 weeks
