In this position key responsibilities will include:
  • Support business and company management in decision making activities, provide analysis, forecasts/plans, recommendations and expertise for process and cost optimization, including pre and post evaluations of investments;
  • Deliver respective Consolidated Financial Statements and Reports, observing “first time quality” and “rock slid reporting” principles;
  • Manage Period Closing process,
  • Define and implement Finance and Control Polices and guidelines;
  • Lead Operational Plan (OP) and DF (Dynamic Forecast) process within the Market; collect and aggregate input from business owners, consolidate a full budget/forecast; prepare analysis for Nespresso Management and the Group;
  • Ensure cost controls; Define efficient ways of controlling actual spend;
  • Prepare Capex requests for OP and Master Business Strategy (MBS);
  • Build and promote compliance & internal control framework within all business processes; periodically monitor efficiency of controls, act as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Nespresso HQ in all internal control related topics,
  • Liaise with Controlling team in Nestle regarding all consolidation process.

To succeed in the role the following experience and competencies will be essential:
  • Hands-on experience in Controlling of minimum 3 to 5 years in a similar capacity with an International company,
  • University degree in finance & accounting or/and international business & economics,
  • Solid Consolidation and Reporting experience in an international company,
  • Extensive knowledge of International Accounting Standards,
  • Audit / Internal Controls background is a plus,
  • Professional Qualification, such as ACCA / CIMA,
  • Fluency in English,
  • Strong business acumen,
  • Excellent analytical skills,
  • Developed communications skills, relationship building and influencing others,
  • Strong ethics and integrity (transparency and trust),
  • IT/IS literacy, strong knowledge of software (including Excel) and ability to manage big data, as well as extract relevant reports. Basic programming skills are a plus
