Futures Recruitment Services are delighted to support our client based on the South Coast seeking a mid-level, part qualified Accountant. Our client offer the bright alternative in fund and corporate services. This role will be to assist with the routine day-to-day functions of their clients depositary services under the leadership of a depositary manager.

Key responsibilities for the Depositary Accountant:

Support the day-to-day provision of depositary services to a portfolio of existing and prospective clients

Work with trainees and the Depositary Manager to facilitate effective and efficient service delivery while maintaining excellent client relationships

Assist with the delivery of daily cash reconciliation obligations and sourcing of relevant supporting documentation

Support the collation of information supporting investment holdings and periodic reconfirmations

Develop a sound understanding of our clients' funds with a view to preparing periodic reports on our depositary activity

Maintain accurate fund accounting records on eFront and fund documentation records on SharePoint

Support the Depositary Manager in the on-going training, development and management of trainees

Desired expertise's for the Depositary Accountant:

The successful candidate will be expected to be studying towards a relevant professional qualification (preferably having commenced ACCA Fundamental Skills level or ACA Professional level)

Some technical financial services knowledge (future advancement will be supported through the internal Academy)

Computer literacy skills are essential
