Financial Reporting & Control Manager required to join this blue-chip corporate in Edinburgh on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is a varied and influential role providing support to the delivery of end to end financial control activity. As Manager, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. In turn, you will gain excellent financial control experience within a truly supportive, dynamic business.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing and managing accounts, reconciliation schedules, and relevant supporting documentation,

Preparing insightful intercompany analysis, assisting with the delivery of budgeting and forecasting.

Assisting in establishing, documenting, and following operating procedures, including controls to meet policy requirements

Acting as a key partner, proactively supporting decision making on key complex/specialist issues, demonstrating strong commercial judgements and comprehensive business awareness

Reviewing business proposals and projects, ensuring all accounting considerations are identified and subsequently implemented

You will be a qualified Accountant, with a strong technical background in financial control or external audit. You will have experience within a large-corporate or alternatively dealing with large corporate clients as an auditor. You will demonstrate a consistent, up to date knowledge of accounting standards and a clear commitment to continuous improvement practices. Excellent communication skills are imperative, as is the ability to work independently.
