Leaidng Manchester based buisness have created a new role for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their expanding finance team.

Working closely with the Group Financial Controller you will inherit the existing team and be tasked with hiring further team members as the business look to centralise some of their operations. Their will also be a focus on improving processes and controls and supporting with a new ERP implementation.

Key Responsibilities;

• Responsible for the overall management of the staff within the transactional processing team
• Ensure all transactions and analysis are completed on time and accurately to support the monthly financial close.
• Manage and reduce operating costs through process and technology efficiencies
• Lead and contribute on finance systems projects in the design, implementations, enhancements
• Project management, process automation, process re-engineering

Key Skills preferred;

• Demonstrable experience of leading an accounts payable function, exposure to other transnational areas such as AR & cash management is desirable
• Ability to build business cases to implement new ideas and ways of working
• Strong people management experience, ability to present to different audiences
