My client is seeking a talented Assistant Accountant to play a key role in supporting the Head of Finance.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Assistant Accountant role will primarily work on the purchases ledger and payroll but will also provide daily support to the finance team and to the Head of Finance.

Key responsibilities include:

Bank reconciliationsPurchase LedgerBACS runsReviewing customer accountsPosting management accounts journalsReconciling credit card statementsPayrollVAT returnsSupervision and coaching to finance team membersThe ideal candidate will be;

AAT Level 4 or first stages of professional exams such as CIMA/ACCAA good understanding of general accounting functionsHighly attentive to detail/accurateAmbitious and desire to become part of a company with exciting plans and share in a success story
