Macildowie Finance are currently recruiting a Financial Controller role for an SME business based in North Leicestershire. This business are embarking on an exciting period of cultural change and are seeking a Financial Controller to drive the finance function forward on a journey to high performance.

This role will be responsible for:
Operating in a hands on manner in all month end processes including leading on the production of all management accounts and variance analysis.
Working with senior operational colleagues to present financial information to assist in the business planning process
Lead on all budgeting and forecasting activity across the business, working with business unit managers.
Day to day management of a small finance team - performance conversations, mentoring and development
Take a lead on finance based initiatives to improve the performance and efficiency of the business as a whole
To be considered for this role ideally you will ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, QBE options will e considered.
You will have a strong background in management and financial accounts, as well as having previous line management responsibility.
You will have Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills - pivots, look ups and ifs are an absolute must
Previous experience of Sage 50 and Sage Payroll packages would be advantageous.
