Michael Page are recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join a large Public Sector organisation based in Leeds.

Client Details

The client is a large commercial public sector organisation based in Leeds. They are actively involved in the fight against Covid-19 and are highly regarded in their field. They offer a range of career opportunities and this role sits within a high profile finance team. All staff are currently working from home.

Description

As an Interim Financial Controller, duties of the role may include but are not limited to, managing the fixed assets team, managing a small team, working on year end duties, completing reconciliations, preparing statutory accounts, building and developing relationships across the organisation, creating and implementing resolutions to any financial accounting issues, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Be a fully Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ CIPFA ESSENTIAL
  • Have prepared statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
  • Be able to build relationships across the organisation ESSENTIAL
  • Have managed a small team ESSENTIAL
