Finance Manager, Birmingham, paying up to £40,000 per annum.

Your new company
Hays is excited to be working with a Hotel Group which consists of 9 hotels and over 500 employees. Their Head Office is based in Liverpool, however they have another office in central Birmingham responsible for the operation of the two properties based here in the City Centre.

Your new role
You will be working as a Cluster Finance Manager responsible for the financial management of the Group's two Birmingham hotels, and so will be an integral part of the team. You will be responsible for the management of all aspects of finance including managing sales ledger, purchase ledger, balance sheets, hotel costs, stock, guest ledgers and financial reporting. You will be required to produce accurate forecasts, manage payroll for both hotels and also direct day to day and monthly financial administration. A large part of the role also includes providing mentoring, coaching and support for departmental management and hotel senior management, you must demonstrate good people management skills within the finance team, including performance management training and development and team meetings.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will be a natural people person and be able to lead from the front. You must have a keen eye for detail whilst always being professional and personable. You will have the passion for finance to drive both hotels forward with the senior management teams, always showing initiative and taking ownership of your work. You must have previous experience working within the finance function of a hotel.
