Financial Controller : Bristol : £45-50k + £5k 'Expected' Bonuses + Pension + Bens

One of Bristol's most admired and entrepreneurial organisations has a newly created position for a commercially and operationally focused Financial Controller to join this flagship division. This is a broad role covering FP&A, management reporting, with a focus on ensuring financial targets are achieved across the division. As a fast-growth evolving entity, a candidate with a balance of management accounting, business acumen and a background in controls, systems and processes is desired. You are likely to have been trained in the Accounting Profession and have gained some commercial experience post-qualification in industry.

The Role

• Management and financial reporting - managing the delivery of accurate and timely weekly revenue reports and monthly management accounts.
• Improve the controls and process framework. Ensure all financial processes are robust and efficient.
• Manage and lead the financial planning process
• Work closely with the Group FD on strategy, planning and commercial aspects.
• Lead in the preparation of business cases for new developments, and projects.
• Lead the provision of analytical support to key functions, providing challenge and support to improve decision making

• Qualified Accountant
• Strong commercial awareness
• Experience in financial control, management reporting and FP&A
• Strong communication skills and charisma are essential in this environment.
