This organisation, a local Accountancy Practice, are seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor/Assistant Manager to join their team.
Reporting into the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Payroll Manager directly with managing the department as well as the team to provide a fully integrated Payroll service.
Specifically you will be responsible for:
Processing periodic payroll and prepare RTI returns
Responsible for a portfolio of payroll clients of different pay frequency's and trades
Ensure you receive and process the payroll to the deadlines as well as pension uploads
Monitoring the progress of payroll processing and payment of tax through tax cycle
Using appropriate resources to gain technical payroll knowledge
Providing technical assistance to clients and office colleagues
Presenting the payroll and related service to clients with appropriate explanations
To be successful in your application, you will have previous extensive Payroll experience. You will have strong communication skills, be a good team player, and have positive and pro-active work ethic.
Hours for the role are Monday - Friday 9am - 5.30pm
