Hawkmont Consulting is exclusively recruiting for a Financial Controller for a fast growth PE backed Manufacturing/FMCG business in Warrington. The business was in an excellent position pre pandemic but has traded incredibly well throughout the Covid 19 scenario. This is a fantastic time to join and make an impact in the Finance Controller role.

You will be working with a highly talented CFO as well as taking an important role with the Private Equity reporting, you will be tasked with taking ownership of the finance function. The Financial Controller and team will be responsible for the delivery of all of the management and financial reporting, including commercial analysis and statutory compliance. You will also take ownership of the Supply Chain function and look to make significant improvements as well as analysing risks and opportunities.

This is a broad role where you will be able to use your experience to add value to a number of different departments, including, operations/production, marketing, procurement and the warehouse.

The successful individual will be a technically strong, fully qualified Accountant who has led the finance team hopefully within a Manufacturing/FMCG environment. You will be a positive, motivated individual with excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building strong working relationships across and outside the business.

You will enjoy playing a major part in driving the business forward whilst developing processes and empowering people.
