German Speaking Compliance Manager required for Manchester based financial services business.

Our client is a Manchester based financial services business.


Your new role
We are looking to recruit a German speaking Compliance Manager for a financial services business based in Manchester. The role will report to the Director of Legal and Compliance and primarily be responsible for ensuring the organisation adheres to all internal and external rules and regulations in the UK and support to the European entities. You will be responsible for managing the compliance team and also act as a Money Laundering Officer. You will also take a lead on a Defence Compliance Monitoring Programme and report the risks to the Risk Committee and Board of Directors. This is a business critical role and the post holder will take responsibility to minimise risk and drive quality across the business.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be multilingual German and English speaking and have full understanding of FCA handbook and regulations. You must have proven experience of managing a compliance team within financial services and have a solid understanding of Data Protection and money laundering legislation. You must also have a track record of working in a regulated environment.
