FP&A Director

Your new organisation

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a state-owned bank established by the UK Government. They are looking to recruit an FP&A Director on a permanent basis. Based in either London or Sheffield, as the organisation has hubs in both cities and is flexible where the candidate works.

Your new role

Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for leading the banks financial planning, management reporting, business analysis/insight, government liaison roles and central cost management.
Your duties will include:

Business Planning

• Lead long-term financial planning through the 5-year business plan
• Manage short-term financial reforecasting and ad-hoc planning projects
• Cost budget-holder partnering as needed by Finance Business Partnering

Reporting and MI

• Oversee preparation of regular and ad-hoc management information;
• Direct business analysis and board reporting/ commentary
• Ensure reports provide insight as well as data

Government liaison

• Manage the Finance dimension of the organisations relationship with UK Government
• Lead Finance input to budget bids for new government products/ resources

Line / people management

• Direct and prioritise the team's activities in line with business priorities
• Manage team performance, including objective-setting, regular one-to-one meetings and formal performance management
• Contribute to the leadership of the Finance department

What do I need?

You will be a qualified accountant with extensive FP&A experience in a similar role and at a similar level. You will have experience of forecasting in a complex and dynamic environment. Experience of managing a team is essential.

What's on offer?

A salary is on offer between 80000 - 117000 per annum plus an excellent benefits package which includes a generous annual leave entitlement and pension contribution.
