Junior Commercial Analyst - Global Renewables Client - 12 month Contract in Rome, Italy

Quanta are seeking candidates with Financial Modelling experience (DCF model as a minimum) who can join our client who are global leader in Renewable Energy. There has never been a better time to seek a role within this thriving sector and right now our client who develop and operate a vast portfolio of Renewable Energy projects across wind, hydro and more are offering an initial 12 month contract with good extension opportunities. Based in the heart of the beautiful city of Rome as a Commercial / Financial analyst you will play a key role in providing commercial support to a wind energy project. As a member of the projects commercial team you will be working for a company with a global presence and a strong track record delivering projects across renewable energy technologies.


They are an ever growing organisation meaning their portfolio of projects coming through the development pipeline continues to grow presenting great current and future opportunities for the right candidate.


In order to successfully be considered for the role due to the responsibilities to be performed candidates must have:

• Demonstrable experience performing project valuations utilising a financial model (Discounted Cash Flow / DCF as a minimum) including running sensitivities analysis for investment project valuations
• Variance analysis reporting experience coupled with budgeting and forecasting experience
• Strong Excel skills, a degree in Economics or Finance related subjects
• Fluent Italian language skills

Duties:

• Preparation and analysis of accurate variance and monthly reporting packs including preparation of the monthly pre-completion report
• Support cash flow and liquidity forecasting for budgetary control and preparation of funding/shortfall statements
• Financial modelling support project valuation activities and relevant maintenance and updating for use towards lenders
• Other ad-hoc financial analysis and modelling excercies
• Collateral management
• Supporting risk assessments for the Owners Engineering team
