Description

Overview:

As Controller, you will be part of our Replacement Tire Business team, acting as business partner to management for steering the organization by creating a transparent picture of the financial situation, evaluating and proposing business scenarios and implementing guidelines and policies in order to add value to the Market and its stakeholders.
You will manage all Controlling aspects including implementation/supervision of appropriate financial controls and processes to support the business objectives incl. development and maintenance of financial and controlling reports for local and BU/regional management.

Your responsibilities include:

Forecast

▪ Monthly forecast consolidation for the entire P&L, working capital and other key figures in cooperation with the operational management.
▪ Preparation of Monthly Operational Review. Explanation of financial aspects of current business, existing financial risk & opportunities, period expenses to BU during monthly reviews.
▪Preparation and maintenance of Cosimo (Sales to CMC movement)
▪ Ensure consistency of reported figures, analyze and explain the changes ( Sales controlling & Expense controlling).
▪Monitoring and review of Sales Accrual balances and release it time to time in P&L.

Budget & Strategy

▪ Preparation and updation of complete B-chart package for Annual Budget and Strategy.
▪Responsible for the consolidation of the Budget / Strategy P&L.
▪ Alignment with Market Manager and Head of Controlling for annual budget and strategy presentation for business unit / business region.
▪ Maintenance of all relevant systems (Cosimo, SAP).

Reporting & Analysis

▪ Establish and prepare internal dashboard for management and sales force.
▪ Explain financial key figures to the market management and propose counter actions in case of deviations from plan.
▪ Establish and prepare reports for business unit and business region and ensure proper communication.
▪ Ensure integrity of financial statements.
▪ Give explanations of financial situation for business units
▪ Analyse profitability for actions and advise requestors.

Logistic Controlling

▪Preparation of Monthly logistic Cost Tracker for PLT and TT business and explain the key figures to Business Unit.
▪Preparation and alignment of Turntable for Bonded function.
▪Preparation of Distribution Cost Budget and alignment with MDM manager.
▪Preparation of Allocation key for National Distribution Centre and alignment with all stakeholders ( Markets, Plant, Business Unit/Region).
▪Monitoring and review of monthly accruals for logistic activities.
▪Timely monitoring and review of logistic cost drivers in Period cost, handling cost, freight cost and duty.

Other Controlling Tasks

▪ Maintenance and preparation of OPT Tool and submit it to management for approval.
▪ Controller Countersignature (e.g. CEOS, for esigns related to DOM, price changes, special approval for Dealers CNs etc.)
▪Weekly estimate to Business Unit after alignment with Business owner in line with current Business Situation.
▪Prepare controlling presentation for PMM and other operational reviews from time to time for management.

Project Management

▪ Project management /participation.
▪Timely delivery of defined Work Packages in a given project.
▪ Implementation of solid processes in line with Corporate guidelines incl. a high level of process control

Closing and Audit

▪ Coordination with Finance & Accounting team for controlling related topics during annual closing of books.
▪ Ensure support during audits. Qualifications Education: Degree in Finance. CA /ACCA/ MBA (Finance) preferred

Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years in business controlling/financial analysis with strong Financial analytical skills

System Knowledge: SAP CO and FI Module

Legal: Knowledge of Statutory laws relevant to S&M operations (VAT, Service Tax, Customs Duty etc.)

International Experience: Work experience in Multi-National with cross-cultural team is preferable

Understanding of tire business and Sales & Marketing mechanisms is preferable
