We are looking for a Finance Assistant - a key role in the financial management of the organisation.
Finance Assistant
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary band: £30k depending on experience
NFRC is the largest and most influential roofing trade association in the UK, promoting quality contractors and quality products, ensuring that its members are at the forefront of all roofing developments.
Together with our competent persons scheme CompetentRoofer Limited, NFRC actively ensures that all members offer high standards of workmanship and sound business practice through a strict code of practice and vetting procedure, including site inspections and adhering to the Government endorsed standards. The Federation also offers training services, technical advice, and represents member interests to the wider construction industry and Government.
Working closely with the Group Head of Finance, you will support the efficient management and processing of accounting transactions, ensuring that all accountancy records are accurate.
To succeed in this role, you will have a relevant professional qualification in finance/accounting or extensive qualification through experience. You will possess a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, along with excellent mathematical skills and accuracy. You will have a good understanding of data privacy standards, ensuring that GDPR is adhered to at all times. Additionally, you will have exceptional attention to detail and pride yourself on your customer service and communication skills. Experience of working with accounting software, specifically Xero and also CRM systems, specifically Capsule, are essential.
You may have experience of: Finance Officer, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Xero, Capsule, Accounting Assistant, Qualified Accountant, AAT, Management Accounts, Financial Assistant, Financial Management, Accountant
