Department Overview


Team manages a team of subject matter experts providing very detailed Enterprise Finance plans, tracks, analyzes and reports financial results, manages the company's balance sheet, including funding, capital and investments; oversees internal real estate needs; drives acquisitions; is responsible for financial controls; and leads corporate strategy.

About the Role


Internally this role is known as Financial Planning and Controls Analyst 4.This Individual contributor role is responsible for posting general ledgers, reconciliation, product control, internal financial management reporting and analysis to support the enterprise, business units, and functional areas and provide meaningful insights into the underlying drivers impacting results. Responsibilities


Responsible for processing the monthly expense packages received from the Rep office for reimbursement and recording their expenses in general ledger & determining need for accruals.

Prepare monthly reconciliation for the accounts detailing the general ledger balances, research discrepancies, and prepare adjusting transactions necessary to make corrections to appropriate accounting records.

Prepare all Daily, Weekly, monthly & Quarterly tasks and ensure they are delivered in a timely and accurate manner.

Prepare monthly Financials and Region level reporting on various FIG line of business / Products along with meaningful commentary to explain month-on-month variance and movements.

Evaluate all financial results and associated reporting (Audit financials vs. monthly Expenses) and identify the cause of any unexpected variances, recommend potential actions to improve results. Communicate results of analysis to business partners.

Perform a wide range of complex analysis related to balance sheet, interest rate risk and commission balances.

Should monitor and collect information related to the FIG and International Products that are required to be reported to external regulatory bodies (Federal Reserve Board, OCC, US Department of Treasury).

Develop tools, templates, and documentations for FIG Finance Expense Reimbursement, Management Reporting, Product Reporting & Regulatory Reporting and process improvement purposes.
Improvise the process by suggesting innovative ideas.

Market Skills and Certifications

Essential Qualifications


Post graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

Minimum 9-10 years' experience in finance or accounting roles, including monthly close, management reporting, Product control, Reconciliation & General ledger.

Preferable to have prior experience in transitioning work from Third party to Captive unit
Desired Qualifications


Experience in Third Party service Industry is strongly preferred
.


Preferable to have prior experience in F&A solution design / transitions (2-3 years).

Strong knowledge of Windows and Excel - Using Pivot table, V lookup, tracing formulas, running macros and good understanding of SQL queries.

Comfortable to work in Rotational shifts including Night shift.
