A global business requires an Interim Assistant Accountant to join them for a period of 6 months.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Reconciling multiple bank accounts - mixture of GBP and foreign currency
• Posting recharges to the P&L
• Reconciling VAT
• Posting bank entries to the nominal ledger
• Posting supplier and intercompany payments
• Intercompany reconciliations

Skills & Experience Required:

• 2+ years in a varied accounting role
• Sound understanding of debits and credits
• Attention to detail
• Ideally AAT Qualified or Part Qualified
• Experience of using ERP software and Microsoft Excel

As Assistant Accountant you will be a key member of the finance team and have job security for the next 6 months. You will enjoy working in a varied finance role and have great exposure in a large business. You will be challenged in this role as you will manage high volumes of data and transactions which will keep you busy. You will receive a competitive salary, have access to free parking and gain some great experience and exposure in this interim assignment.
