Office/ Finance Manager
Salary of £26-30K
100% permanent and full time
Swansea

I'm looking for someone with plenty of experience in finance and book keeping, quite possibly from an SME environment where chances are, they are/were a one man/woman finance and office management team! I need tonnes of exposure to transactional finance; sales and purchase ledgers, creditor management, payment runs, journals and VAT returns. You will need to be able to use computerised financial systems such as SAGE and have some good Excel skills; this will be the largest part of your role. But here's where it gets VERY interesting….. I'm looking for someone who also has some pretty awesome HR credentials; not qualifications per se, but capable of handling the recruitment process and associated inductions and contracts as well as some policy and procedural work. The big satin ribbon that ties this role up into the perfect package is your office management experience; you will be responsible for the renewal of insurance policies, the person that the team comes to when the lights blow a fuse, in charge of making sure that you always have an "elegant sufficiency" of stationary and basically the miracle worker who keeps the whole place running along smoothly… no small task! It's a very organic role in a fast paced organisation….. no doubt the role will develop with time served and experience gained, so this is just an overview…..
I have worked with this business before; they are extremely passionate about what they do and in order to become a member of their team you will need to be able to demonstrate your passion for their product alongside your impeccable finance and administration skills. They also have a deep sense of responsibility to their team; the look after their people and always focus on doing the right thing by them and this has been abundantly clear throughout the recent COVID 19 crisis; you will need to buy into this strong team ethic. Work will be home based as much as possible during the current restricted crisis, but there will be times that will require you to come into office..... but your safety and well being will be of paramount importance. Going forward, this role will be office based in Swansea so you must be based in the locality; this is not suitable for remote working.
