Description

Duties include:

To support the delivery of all reporting and banking related activities across the group with a key focus on staff training, upskilling and process improvement to facilitate smoother month end process.

  • Manages the production and analysis of key financial and activity based information for the Business Units. Supports the Head of Finance with financial reviews
  • Supports the implementation of Company policies, procedures, processes and initiatives. Assists in the maintenance of financial procedures file and ensures that all financial processes are adhered to within the department.
  • Supports Regional Directors and Ops Managers with implementing processes and ensuring adherence to financial procedures.
  • Taking ownership and suggesting improvements to the production of the management accounts be it process improvement or staff training

Taking part in the training of Ops Managers to improve financial processes at operational level

Profile

Be up to date with current accounting standard particularly UK GAAP (FRS 102)

Previous experience of owning the production of the management accounts in a large quantity, multisite business

Job Offer

Salary of £60,000 - £85,000 plus benefits
