Interim Financial Controller
This is initially a 6 month fixed term contract, to start as soon as possible. As Financial Controller, you will primarily be tasked with updating company financial policies and developing new processes to aid business growth. This is an exciting time to join our client as they embark upon a 5 year plan to double company turnover.
Key responsibilities will include preparing group consolidated accounts, liaising with the bank, auditors and HMRC, overseeing the production of monthly management accounts, producing financial analysis and managing a small finance team. Working with the Senior Management Team you will also prepare the 5 year financial plan, capex and cashflow.
A significant part of this role will be to review current processes and reporting and drive change across areas including product costing, management accounts and creating new tools and processes to allow for the production of valuable business data and insight.
Suitable candidates will be Qualified Accountants with demonstrable experience of managing change and implementing developments within a manufacturing or food environment. Exceptional communication skills along with the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems are required. Advanced Excel skills are essential and Sage experience would be a distinct advantage.
Due to the nature of this role and business operations, there is a requirement to work from Head Office based in North Yorkshire 2-3 days per week, with flexibility to work from home outside of this.
