Department Overview


Financial Accounting Control System(FACS) Finance team manages a team of subject matter experts providing very detailed functional support between Finance, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Risk and Operations teams and the Information Technology organization. Product Control SolutionsFinance team manages a team of subject matter experts providing very detailed functional support between Finance, Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Risk and Operations teams and the Information Technology organization.

About the Role


This role requires a developed understanding of Current processes and expertise in data analysis, reviewing database objects and building proof of concepts for new reports using advanced SQL. This knowledge is required to lead the activities of executing on the Risk and Controls model, collaborate within and across teams. This role will ensure documentation covering multiple functions as team member will be implementing several projects collaborating with IT as a part of this initiative with all the below daily responsibilities and requirements.

Responsibilities


Troubleshoot/Research/Analyze PCs data needs and turn it into Functional Design Document.

With Functional design document, collaborate with team to ensure requirements are clear and assist/clarify to dev as needed throughout development.

Perform functional and regression testing for the changes/enhancement.

Work with Product controller to get their approval on the changes/enhancement.

Act as a Project Manager for all his open item between Developer and Downstream User

Ad hoc questions/queries troubleshooting (including addressing & coordinating the questions to the accurate counterparts).

Market Skills and Certifications

Essential Qualifications


B.COM/ M.COM/B.Tech (IT)/BSC (CS)/MSC (CS) OR M.B.A degree with 6-8 + years of experience in one or a combination of the following: Project Management, SQL Development, Finance, Accounting, Risk & Control, Reporting

Strong track records of delivering results

Mandatory skill: Advanced SQL
Desired Qualifications


Advanced knowledge of SQL or similar Querying methods.
Knowledge of Business Requirements
