An exciting and growing organisation in Northumberland with an enviable reputation and a multi-site set up are seeking to strengthen their financial team with an experienced financial manager who will be based on-site in the main.


Your new role
Overseeing a team of 6 in finance and administration, as well as 2 operational managers you will be working closely with the senior leadership team across 2 sites, reporting to operational leaders as well as the Financial Director. You will have proven technical expertise in management accounting, analysis and budget management.
The role will take ownership of managing the budgets, providing insight, analysis and guidance to non financial colleagues, as well as taking ownership of financial information provision and working in partnership with peers and senior management on other operational sites. Key responsibilities will also include proactively seeking additional funding and revenue streams, as well as making cost savings where possible, driving forward team delivery of key objectives, providing support and leadership and having a business partnering mentality. It is vital that you have a proactive approach to finding ways to improve efficiencies and ensuring value for money.


What you'll need to succeed
A positive and proactive nature, be inquisitive, personable and engaging. You will need to be resilient in challenging situations and have the diplomacy to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
With a proven track record of delivery within a financial management role and the ability to prioritise effectively as well as ensuring all deadlines are met with the production of high quality outputs.
