Payroll Officer position based in Oxford

Your new company
Your new organisation sits within the public sector and is looking for a Payroll Professional who can join their team immediately.

Your new role
You will act as the main POC for all payroll related queries and will be responsible for the following:

* Processing payroll on a monthly and termly basis.
* Processing SSP, SPP, SMP
* Reconciliation of payroll control accounts and posting journals
* Pensions: Auto enrolment
* Benefits Administration: Cycle to Work Scheme, Nursery scheme, travel pass
* Assisting the wider finance team when necessary. This could be with management accounts, invoicing and identifying variances.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be immediately available and will have prior experience in payroll.
You will also be up to date with current payroll legislation.
