The client is a high profile Public Sector organisation based in Leeds. As an Interim Finance Analyst, this role will be part of one of their high performing teams and play a crucial role in the effort to fight Covid-19. Description

As a Finance Analyst, duties of the role will include but are not limited to, ensuring appropriate accounting processes and procedures are in place for the new and ongoing contracts, analysing and working with the budgeting processes, ensuring approvals are accurate and in place, working on implementing operational processes within finance and working with the P2P function. The role will also involve project accountancy duties including planning for different changes that could be delivered across the organisation and what the cost implications would be. Other duties are likely to include, managing the flow of purchase orders, dealing and solving queries from start to finish, investigating and analysing any issues/ outstanding invoices, ensuring smooth payment and processing of invoices, supporting projects, working with stakeholders, improving P2P processes, providing accurate analysis for the department and other ad hoc duties.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be able to start asap ESSENTIAL
• Be eligible for security clearance ESSENTIAL
• Have worked in a finance operations environment ESSENTIAL
• Have a solid understanding of end to end P2P processes ESSENTIAL
• Have an excellent knowledge of working with budgets ESSENTIAL
• Have excellent communication skills ESSENTIAL
• Be able to work from home ESSENTIAL

Job Offer

£45,000- £60,000 + Interim Finance Analyst opportunity + multiple positions + working at home + public sector organisation + immediate start + weekly pay
