Chief Accountant
Miejsce pracy: Skarbimierz (pow. brzeski)
Description of position:
- Coordinating the flow of accounting and personnel documents
- Keeping the accounting books, settlements and tax documentation of the Company in accordance with the Accounting Act and tax law regulations
- Preparing tax returns required by tax law (CIT, PIT, VAT, VAT-EU) and taking care of the correctness of tax settlements
- Preparing statements, reports and analyses for the needs of internal and external reporting (including consolidated reports) and reports for the needs of the Management Board and external institutions
- Responsibility for accounting policy, participation in creating procedures and internal regulations, improving accounting processes
- Preparing product cost calculation and related management accounting analysis
- Responsibility and control over the proper circulation of accounting documents
- Active cooperation with the company's departments and contractors
- Keeping records of fixed assets and calculation of depreciation
- Cooperation and representing the Company to the Social Security Office, the Tax Office, the Central Statistical Office, banks, auditing and consulting companies
- Preparation of the Company's financial statements in accordance with Polish and international accounting standards and reports required by law
- Cooperation with the Group's foreign headquarters
- Supporting key decisions concerning the Company's operations (supporting the Management Board in tax and financial matters)
- Supervision of the correctness of settlements with the budget
- Supervision over the decreed and booked documents (including: WDT, WNT, Export, Import) and the preparation of reports to the Ministry of Development
- VAT and zone/non-zone activities settlements
Requirements:
- Degree in accounting, finance or economics
- Professional experience in a similar position with a team leadership and organization skills - min. 5 years
- Fluent knowledge of tax regulations
- Very good knowledge of the binding regulations and rules of accounting, tax law, labour law, social security, personal data protection
- Experience in reporting the company's results and assets and financial situation
- Very good organization of work, very good level of interpersonal communication, commitment and timeliness in action
- English language knowledge at C1 level
- Experience in international transactions WDT, WNT, Import of goods and services, Export (a necessary condition)
