£18,000 starting salary, depending on experience
THE ABILITY TO SPEAK WELSH IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant who can converse fluently in the wonderful medium of Welsh! There is scope to study professional finance qualifications and the focus in this business is very much on development and maximising potential...... this is a organisation that believes in investing in their people! You will need some experience in a finance role; this is not a total entry level position, but for a graduate with a finance placement behind them, a AAT studier with a bit of experience in a sales or purchase ledger role or for an experienced finance assistant; this role is a great opportunity!
You will be responsible for a range of transactional finance duties; purchase ledger processing, sales ledger including credit control, reconciliations, stock control and journal entries......so this role will give you superb exposure to any areas that your experience is a little light.
You should have a little experience of working within a finance department, knowledge of computerised accounting system would be beneficial and you will be highly ITC literate with experience of using Microsoft Office applications such as Excel. The ability to speak Welsh fluently is key and you need to be prepared for an interview in Welsh; please make sure that your Welsh language skills are mentioned on your CV or you are unlikely to be shortlisted
