Commensurate with experience Closing Date: 15/10/2020 Interview Date: TBC Key Responsibilities Gather financial data and ledgers Consolidate and analyse financial statements and results Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings Manage periodical reporting Oversee external and internal financial audits Analyse finances to determine risks and create forecasts Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information. Summarising current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports. Maintaining accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures Reconciling financial discrepancies Secure financial information by completing regular database back ups and cyber security training Prepare payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements Compliance with all financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising senior management on needed actions Maintain client confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential Manage Accounts Manager and Accounts Assistants and assist them by coordinating their activities and answering questions Essential requirements and skills Proven experience in practice and industry/corporate accounts Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices In-depth experience in risk-analysis, budgeting, and forecasting Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and finance software An analytical mind with problem solving aptitude Excellent communication skills Keen eye for detail Organisational and leadership skills ACCA qualified
