We have a fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join us supporting the finance function of an international financial services business. We are looking for someone who is a team player, happy to get involved with a variety of responsibilities and keen to learn.
We are a well-established international financial services business going through a growth phase as a result of continued success. We are seeking someone happy to multi-task and take on a varied accounts assistant role, make it their own and grow with the business. Our department is continually innovating; making process improvement, utilising technology and adding value to the business as a whole.
We can offer study support and career progression.
Core responsibilities include:
Raise customer invoices
Sales Ledger
Credit Control support
Customer query resolution
Assist with month-end reconciliations and preparation of MI reports
Back up and support for income processing
Ad-hoc projects
Essential Skills
One year's previous experience in a similar role
Good standard of education with literacy and numeracy (A-Level)
Desirable Skills
Self-motivated, enthusiastic and confident
A strong understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications especially Excel
Analytical, articulate, methodical and well organised with an ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
Ability to work to, and assist with the implementation of new processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with people at all levels
AAT study / progression
Passion for technology
