CBRE Integrated Laboratory Solutions, part of Global Workplace Solutions, is a leading global provider of Scientific Support Services. We are recruiting a Finance Analyst to join the team.. The successful candidate will provide sound financial support to the Account Management team, control and monitor the contract performance for all sites within the designated portfolio and ensure company internal policies and procedures are adhered to.

Responsibilities:


Working with the Operations Lead and Global Alliance Director on month end reporting, quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes for the UK portfolio (Internal)
Provide proactive financial and commercial support to Site Teams through the delivery of timely, accurate and user-friendly monthly reports to support business decisions
Maintain a robust business controls regime, including management of delegated financial authority and proper separation of duties maintaining correct and effective use of client and company resources to ensure full SOX compliance
Optimize cash flow from activities - Assist in ensuring timely and accurate billing in line with contractual terms and liaison with client to actively review correct collection
Perform monthly reviews with key budget holders. Providing reports against variances to plan and contract, agreeing actions for moving forward
Report out on all programmes and initiatives adopted by account to deliver glidepath requirements, including working with Supply Chain and Account Management to ensure that contractual savings are identified and met
Review quality of client reporting and reconciliations to ensure that contractual commitments are met and corporate expectations delivered. Work with the team to ensure that any changes to commercial terms are dealt with in line with CBRE & Client corporate expectations eg approvals, backup documentation & budget amendments

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Higher educational qualifications to 'A' level or degree
Studying or newly qualified CCAB accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) - Desirable
Excellent PC based skills, with experience in Word, Excel (including modelling), PowerPoint and Outlook - intermediate to advance level skills are essential (lookups and pivots essential)
Organised and open to new ways of working to challenge inefficiencies
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and able to communicate with people at all levels across the account and develop effective relationships at all levels
Complex commercial models and GMP experience
Working in an environment where delivering financial information within tight timescales is a pre-requisite
Reporting in a complex multi-country, multi-divisional, service business (Industry experience) including financial planning and contracts management
Dealing with Forex in a multi-currency environment
Providing senior management with financial results and analysis
Demonstrable experience working with complex financial and operational information systems and controls in a large business that provides consistent and reliable information
Previous experience of a customer-facing role using operating systems such as Dynamics AX or Concept software along with financial / accounting experience would be an advantage
The individual must be willing to undertake travel as the role/business requires
