Accounts Technician -

Responsibilities:


* Preparing financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies

* Personal and corporation tax computations & compliance

* Bookkeeping tasks and VAT preparation

* Client interaction over the phone and on email, including booking meetings with clients for the Managers and Partners

* Liaising with the HMRC on queries

What will you need to be successful in this role?

* Level 3 AAT Qualified, or early stages of ACA/ACCA

* Previous accountancy practice experience is essential

* Exposure to accounts and bookkeeping would be ideal

* Exposure to accounts systems such as Xero or Sage would be advantageous but training on software can be given on the job
