Finance Business Partner

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced and exceptional Finance Business Partner to join the Strategic Finance and Insights team (SFI). The SFI team are strategic thought partners that generate integrated, customer-centric insights to enable data-driven decision making that ultimately help deliver better outcomes for more patients, faster.

The Finance Business Partner is responsible for:

  • Guiding the business as a strategic consultant to drive patient and customer centric outcomes through finance expertise and deep business knowledge
  • Performing core Financial Management tasks, including business planning, reporting and financial insights generation, at highest quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborating with the business to develop leading indicators to measure performance.
  • Seeking and building opportunities to partner and collaborate with local and global networks of experts
  • Connecting the dots as entrepreneurs to generate value, prioritise investments and make trade-off decisions.
  • Serving as guardians to enable new business opportunities, to safeguard our assets, and to provide transparency and uphold compliance.
  • Continuously examining and interpreting data, such as financial statements, price developments, market dynamics, productivity measures, investment opportunities to inform decision making
  • Acting as a guardian for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the centre of all actions by consistent business behaviour that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche's Code of Conduct.
  • Owning their development to ensure they are continually growing skills and capabilities in line with their passion and the needs of the Organisation


Individuals should

  • Have a Bachelors in Business, Finance, Statistics, or related degree, CFA / MBA preferred
  • Have e xceptional structured problem-solving and strategic agility abilities. S implifying complex information into clear, synthesized insights and presenting them to stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Leadership and influence in local and global networks
  • Be proficient in financial modeling, investment valuation and trade-off analysis
  • Be passionate about driving adoption of new technologies, including AI, machine learning and RPA to provide financial transparency, drive productivity and derive insights.
  • Be comfortable collaborating in self-managed, cross-functional teams
