Based in Newport, our client is a leading Accountancy firm. They are seeking to recruit a Tax Executive to join its busy team.

The Position Function

• To assist the tax department with their compliance, planning and research work

• To build client relationships

• To work towards managing own portfolio

• To work towards completing the ATT exams (Association of Taxation Technicians)

The Position Responsibilities

• Assist and support tax professionals in handling taxation matters

• Preparation of self assessment tax returns

• Dealing with ad hoc queries raised by clients

• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients

• Manage and update tax databases

• Perform some administrative duties for tax department such as type, print or copy

documents, answer telephone and receive and send emails

• Work closely with tax and other departments

To be successful in this role, you will have around 18 months experience in a similar role
