Our client, a multinational organisation with a strong international presence is currently seeking a Group VAT Accountant to join their UK tax function. You will report directly into the Head of VAT and will have 2 direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the European VAT compliance
- Assist with answering group VAT queries
- Complete the Indirect tax reporting (EC Sales List, Intrastat)
- Supporting the Indirect Tax Manager on various projects (Brexit, MTD etc.)
Requirements:
- Strong VAT exposure with excellent technical skills
- Desire and confidence to challenge ideas, working autonomously and part of a team.
