Harper May is currently working with a start up technology company with headquarters in the heart of Central London. My client is seeking a Financial Controller to aid their finance team and a VC fundraise. The successful candidate will have prior financial services or fintech experience and will be fully qualified.

Key Responsibilities;

• Deliverance of annual budgets to key board members
• Building and maintaining close relationships with the CFO and other senior stakeholders
• Managing relationship with the investors
• Assisting with the fundraise
• Producing investor decks
• A key understanding of the businesses goals and initiatives in order to direct the finance team towards maximising profitability
• Budgeting and forecasting for the Global operation
• Ad-hoc analysis on current and future projects
• Mentoring and development of junior staff members

Key Requirements;

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (ACA Qualified is preferred)
• Must have prior technology experience
• Highly-motivated pro-active self starter
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and thrive in a fast paced environment
• Confidence to maintain close relationships with CFOs
• Python experience
