This role will require you to support the preparation of divisional financial statements whilst maintaining the day to day financial accouting.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Review Bank reconsilliations prepared by finance staff, including investigation and resolution of reconcilling items
- Ownership of commission drawdown process
- Support to Financial Controllers on cash management and cash flow forecasting
- Individual business unit balance sheet ownership
- Calculation of month end acrruals, including revenue and prepayments.
- Ensure payments are processed within agreed SLA's
- Completion of balance sheet reconciliations and assigned
- verify and control that all data is extracted across various operating systems into the general ledger
- Team managements
- Mentoring of finance staff
- Timely completion of all assigned tasks
- Provide support as required to the management acctant and financial controller.
- Support to deliver finance department projects as undertake
- Continuously seek to enhance systems and controls within the finance department
- Always meet stakeholders needs and requirements and adhere to company values
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
Skills/Qualities/Experience:
- Exchequer (preferred or suitable accountaing package)
- MS Excel - Advanced
- Ability to execute in a timely and efficient manner when provided tasks
- Ability to think laterally in a problem solving/trouble shooting capacity
- High level of accuracy
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 8 GCSE's grade C and above (including maths and english) or equivalent
- Accouting Experience
- AAT Qualified or equivalent (preferred)
- A desire and willingness to undertake further professional qualifications.

The hours of work would be 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 5:30pm.
Due to Covid-19 this role will initially be home based.
