A global logistics company near Warrington are currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Accountant to join the business; reporting into the Group Financial Controller.
You will be responsible for systems, audits and control providing support to the Group Finance Team and the Group Finance Controller. You will also have line management responsibilities (currently for one Assistant Group Accountant). Ideally you will be ACA qualified and have worked in one of the 'Big 4' accounting firms, along with a strong background in compliance, audit and reporting regularities.

As Group Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance across the group

• Leading the development, operation and maintenance of financial systems in the consolidation process

• Managing and developing one Assistant Group Accountant

• Supporting and providing assistance to the Group Financial Controller

• Developing an effective Financial Control Framework across thel Group

• Approval request preparation and monitoring

• Monitoring balance sheet reconciliations across all territories

• Developing a robust currency forecasting system across the Group

• Driving forward Group finance reporting systems and processes
