Morgan Hunt have an excellent opportunity for a Treasury Manager to join our large Public Sector client.

This position is a lead role in the provision of treasury planning, treasury management and compliance for the organisation. To forecast cash requirements in the short and medium term, predicting requirements for additional loans, ensuring liquidity needs are met, and effectively managing cash reserves.

Other duties include;

• Lead the management of the organisations endowment portfolio ensuring that administrative tasks are completed by direct line report
• Ensure all treasury accounts in the finance system are appropriately controlled and the correct treasury entries are included in the financial statements of the University and its subsidiaries
• Develop and maintain detailed two year rolling cash flow forecasts and actively use this information to inform treasury decisions
• Develop scenario planning techniques to model alternative cash requirements to feed into the organisation decision making on loan financing and budgetary assumptions

Skills/Experience Required;

• Fully qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least two years' relevant post qualification experience
• Significant experience of treasury management within an organisation of comparable size
• Capable of dealing with technical treasury issues
• Able to build effective working relationships with financial and non-financial managers across the Organisation and outside
