An opportunity has arisen to join a leading educational institution based in the centre of Cambridge as their next Finance Assistant. This role is being recruited on a full time permanent basis. Within this role you will report into the Finance Manager
As the Finance Assistant you will be tasked with a number of key responsibilities, including:
- Processing and coding of Purchase invoices
- Reviewing supplier statements
- Bank Reconciliations
- Petty cash recs
- Credit card statements
- Additional ad hoc duties at the discretion of your line manager
In order to be successful in this position, you will ideally possess the following set of skills and attributes, including:
- Experience working in a similar office based Finance role previously
- Good knowledge of accounting systems
- Ideally be studying towards your AAT or equivalent
- Strong IT literacy skills
- A good work ethic, and an ability to prioritise your workload
- Good communication skills
