My client is a privately owned Logistics company based in the North Shore, with a modern open-planed office that is close to public transport facilities. They have a friendly and professional culture, with a very hands-on approach embedded in the organisations culture. They are looking for a strong candidate to join the team on a 3-month contract while the company are experiencing a period of growth.
The Role
As the Assistant Accountant you will be reporting into the Financial Manager, working in a team of 5. You will be working on a varied role with a high focus on Billings and month - end tasks.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Your Profile
You will have at least 3-5 years' experience working in a similar position, with a strong Billings background. Experience using medium to large ERP systems. You will have good analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and you will need strong verbal communication skills and will have the ability and willingness to work within deadlines with the ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.

- Understanding complex Billing structures - automated and manual
- Solid AR understanding
- Updating the cashflow daily
- Multiple bank reconciliations
- Fixed Assets and Accruals
- PAYE/GST/FBT
- Other ad-hoc duties
