Junior Manufacturing Accountant

£20-24,000 per annum

This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate with strong analytical finance skills to join this growing manufacturing business. In order to be successful in this role, you will need an exceptional grasp of Microsoft Excel for data interrogation and manipulation, a good understanding of cost control and excellent commercial skills. This role will give you the opportunity to build confidence in your reporting technique; presenting findings to your line manager for inclusion in monthly management accounting packs for the board of directors.

You will have excellent understanding of the accounting process (journals, accruals and prepayments), probably gained through the study of ACCA or CIMA. This is not an entry level opportunity; you will need significant exposure to a commercial accounting environment, although I welcome applications from any areas of industry, practice, public or 3rd sector. Continued study of your chosen course (ACCA or CIMA) will be supported financially and this role will give excellent opportunities for personal growth and development
