Senior Income Accountant - Permanent - Part of a Restructure
Your new company
An organisation that is working to support communities by providing them with homes that people can afford. Expanding themselves through West London and currently going through an internal restructure. Being a trusted part of the community and growing since 1968.
Your new role
You will be working as a Senior Income Accountant, alongside the Head of Income Accounting and a more junior Income Accountant.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Supporting the Head of Income Accounts with the annual rent setting process, ensuring compliance policies are adhered to.
- Providing support to the service charge processes from a financial perspective
- Completing rent and service charge accounting in preparation to be reviewed by the Head of Income Accounts
- Providing an insight towards the efficiency and accuracy of income processes and functions
- Reconciliations of the nominal ledger, rent accounts and leaseholder accounts.
- Providing an excellent customer service to tenants and leaseholders
- Work with tenants and leaseholders to adopt efficient methods of payment.
- Working in line with set goals and and continuously improving the services provided.
What you'll need to succeed
Part-Qualified or QBE in a similar setting
Experience working within social housing or with a housing association
Ability to hit the ground running
At least 2 years experience working in an income related position
