JOB SUMMARY:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for timely processing of vendor compliant invoices in SAP and other ERP systems. In addition, responsibilities include monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date. This person will become a valued member of our Finance Department, where we strive to promote from within wherever possible; therefore, opportunities for advancement are strong.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Timely processing of vendor compliant invoices in SAP and other ERP systems
• Respond to AP inquiries
• Reconcile vendor statements, research and address discrepancies
• Manage dispute resolution process with vendors and locations
• Provide requested documentation and support related to Internal Control and Audits
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Highlight to management any potential fraud - internally or externally
• Maintain the confidentiality of all information
• Participate in meetings and conference calls as needed to solve AP related issues with vendors/locations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION:

• Associate's Degree or some college/proven math or accounting skills.

EXPERIENCE:

• Prior accounting experience preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to speak English, German
• Prior Accounts Payable experience preferred
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Effective communication skills (verbal, listening and written) for dealing with both external vendors and internally within the organization
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Must be detail oriented and have good basic math skills; professional attitude, reliable
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
