Reporting into the VP - Finance and managing a team of 3, this is a great opportunity to join a globa media organisation.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Group Cash Management
  • Liquidity Management - making certain the Group is able to meet its liabilities as they fall due.
  • Risk Management - ensuring the Group is not vulnerable to unacceptable risk of loss through credit, market or exchange risk.
  • Foreign Exchange Dealing.
  • Banking Relationships - establishing and maintaining good relationships with approved banks to obtain cost - effective banking services and ensuring we do not risk breaching covenants under the terms of our credit facilities (including arranging credit facilities at an early stage to obtain most favourable terms).
  • Manage and develop the detailed cash forecasting system.
  • Internal and Studio Reporting Obligations
  • Controls - ensuring all payments are properly authorised and the opening, operation (including appointment and removal of authorised signatories) and closure of bank accounts worldwide is controlled Treasury in accordance with guidelines and policies.
  • Providing guidance on treasury matters to subsidiaries and liaising with the Studios' Treasury Departments (as necessary).
  • Management of all functions required to maintain the London General Ledger.
  • Responsible for the approval of the monthly Partner reporting packs.
  • Manage quarterly forecast and annual budgets for London departmental overheads.
  • Manage group budget and reporting processes , timetable and detailed actual against budget variance analysis reports.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant with international treasury experience gained within a multi-national company.
  • Strong systems skills with excellent knowledge of MS office products including advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience of the consolidation process and multi-currency, cross border intercompany transactions.
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict reporting deadlines where accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
  • Highly numerate and articulate and able to successfully communicate with the senior management of UIP and the Studios.
  • Ability to properly prioritise workload.
